The Estonian Sauna Masters III Aufguss Championships will take place on 24–26 April 2026
The championships will be held 24–26 April 2026. Over three days, 12 of Estonia’s best Aufguss sauna masters will compete in a total of 11 solo performances and 3 team performances. Each sauna performance lasts 10–15 minutes and consists of several judged elements: towel technique, directing aromas and air flows, clarity of the sauna performance’s narrative, appropriate use of aromas, relaxation of the people in the sauna, and the coherence of all the above components. Performances are evaluated by an international jury, and the winners will represent Estonia at the Aufguss World Championships in Germany at Satama Sauna Resort and Spa, 14–20 September 2026.
A separate admission ticket is required for the Estonian Aufguss Championships. Children may attend performances from the age of 12 when accompanied by a parent or guardian. Sauna temperature: 75 °C.

In 1960s New York a young man becomes the new head of a mafia family after his father’s disappearance, initially relishing power and apparent calm. He soon discovers that his father’s disappearance was orchestrated by his own brother, triggering an inner crisis and shattering his trust. Unable to turn against his family, he makes a tragic choice.

The story follows a young man who goes to Hollywood dreaming of becoming a rock star but initially ends up working in a rock bar; after many years he gets an opportunity to pursue fame. After failing to achieve success in a boyband, he rediscovers his true passion—rock music—and eventually reaches the big stages.

Nora Katreen Harik, 20 years old.
Has worked as a sauna master for nearly 1.5 years. Aufguss show: “Seventh …”
Evil otherworldly spirits need one more pure soul to conquer the world and find a naïve girl who dreams of love. They break her trust by revealing that love is full of deceit and wickedness. After a transformation born of pain, the girl joins them and becomes the final sin, Lust.

Kaupo Sõrmus, 50 years old.
Has worked as a sauna master for 3 years. Aufguss show: “Wishing Syndrome”
A cheerful man who seemingly has everything lets greed guide him when a goldfish grants him ever more wealth and beauty. Only through loss and disappointment does he realize that true value lies in the present moment and in what he already possesses.

Ksenia Komarov, 22 years old.
Has worked as a sauna master for 2.6 years. Aufguss show: “Lost Flight”
My competition piece tells how a small toy airplane gives rise to a great dream that carries one through life and across the ocean. It is the mystical life story of a female pilot’s courage to follow her heart—no matter where or how far—even if it leads into the unknown.

Heidy Tammel, 23 years old.
Has worked as a sauna master for 8 months. Aufguss show: “The Fire of Harmony”
For centuries, fairies have guarded the Fire of Harmony, which maintains the world’s balance, but growing evil now threatens it. They choose one brave being with a pure heart to return the fire to its original place. The journey leads through dangers and magical locations to restore peace and balance.

Frederik Vilms-Jamsa, 26 years old.
Has worked as a sauna master for nearly 2 years. Aufguss show: “Turbulence”
“Turbulence” tells the story of a flight attendant who strives to keep the airline’s reputation clean, elite, and hospitable, even though the company itself is far from reliable. As more problems surface, the airline’s image deteriorates in the public eye, and he does everything he can to prevent that at any cost.

Hristina Sergejeva, 34 years old.
Has worked as a sauna master for 1 year. Aufguss show: “Birth of Aurora”
What happens when eternal winter meets the sun? It is a story of change, power, and the moment when the auroras are born.

Karl-Peeter Kangur, 31 years old.
Has worked as a sauna master for just under 6 years. Aufguss show: “You Create the World Around You”
The story is inspired by the book The Secret by Rhonda Byrne.

Ivan Hudik, 40 years old.
Has worked as a sauna master for nearly 2 years. Aufguss show: “Flashes of Life”
The story is born from real experiences, memory flashes and moments from the author’s life. It reflects how parents’ words and teachings live on within us. Each scene is an emotion. Each moment is a reminder of what truly matters. Life is not measured by the number of years lived but by the moments that remain with us forever.
